Introducing the Madsen LAR. The Madsen LAR was a 7.62 mm caliber battle rifle, designed in Denmark. It was based on the Kalashnikov rifle and constructed of lightweight, high tensile alloy and steel, similar to materials used for the M16 rifle. Its layout was similar to a few of the rifles of its time, such as the GRAM 63 and the Valmet M62.
